EKA MONEY PATH AR

This project is an augmented reality application created as a playful and engaging showcase for prospective game development students. Its main goal is to demonstrate that even during their studies, students are capable of building interactive, technically solid, and visually appealing AR experiences.

The experience begins with image tracking: when the user points their device at a target image - represented by a 50-euro banknote - the university’s mascot appears in augmented reality. This moment works as a metaphorical “entry point” into the game development journey, symbolizing the initial investment of time, effort, and education. 

The second stage transitions to a ground plane AR experience, where users can place unlimited stacks of virtual money on the floor with each tap. This mechanic humorously visualizes progression, growth, and the potential outcomes of developing technical and creative skills.

By combining marketing intent with interactive AR mechanics, the project serves both as a demonstration of students’ technical abilities and as an accessible, light-hearted guide to the path of a future game developer - from learning and experimentation to real-world opportunities.
