Have you ever wanted to quickly decide which movie to watch at your favourite cinema?
This AR application, developed in Unity using Vuforia, allows users to scan a Forum Cinemas movie club card and choose a poster of a new movie from a small curated selection. By tapping on a poster appeared on Image Target, users can place a virtual cinema screen on a real-world surface using ground plane tracking and immediately watch the selected movie trailer in an immersive AR experience. Although the current version does not connect to a live cinema website or database, it demonstrates the strong potential of this technology for future integration with real movie listings and promotional platforms, showing how engaging and intuitive movie discovery could be.
