An AR application for learning the English language for children. Since language learning is often a boring and complex process, especially for children aged 6 to 10 who have difficulty maintaining concentration, their interest needs to be captured through a more interactive approach. Currently, the application includes 8 animals to guess.
Using the camera, you point it at a card with an animal and see the question “Who is this?” along with an input field. If you enter an incorrect answer, you can try again. If you enter the correct answer, a 3D model of the animal appears on the card, to which a pleasant animation can be applied, and afterward it can also be placed on a table. Additionally, when the answer is correct, the guessed word is pronounced aloud in the application.
In this way, learning becomes not only useful but also interesting. The child can both play and learn the correct spelling and pronunciation of a new word. By playing this game multiple times, the words will certainly stay in the child’s memory, and the next time the learning process will no longer seem so tiring, as new models will be offered.
